Italy is home to Europe’s most captivating cuisine and the Tuscany region is not only the source of most of Italy’s fresh farm ingredients, but also the source of its culinary inspiration. The sun-soaked, luscious, and fertile Tuscan countryside is agricultural prime, and culinary heaven.

At Villa I Busini we embrace the philosophy of “when in Tuscany, do as the Tuscan’s do.” You will not be dissapointed. To offer you a true Tuscan experience, we offer authentic Tuscan breakfasts and the options to request a private chef to prepare the finest culinary experiences for you and your guests, or to enjoy home cooked lunch specialties from our resident chef.

Our chefs and local farmers produce the best that Tuscany has to offer, so you may enjoy unforgettable local cuisine and sample a selection of the region’s top wines and favorite delicacies, during your stay at Tuscany’s most authentic destination. 

Included with Villa I Busini weekly accommodations is an authentic colazione (Tuscan breakfast) served daily. At breakfast, you will enjoy a selection of sweet pastries, such as cornetto, brioche, and pezzo to dip in your cappuccino or espresso, along with local cheeses and salumi, freshly squeezed orange juice, and a variety of seasonal, local fruits.

Also included are the services of a Chef, for one meal per day, For lunch, you might enjoy a selection of Tuscan paninis, served with a variety of salumi and other local cold cuts, melt-in-your mouth local cheeses, and refreshing salads. Or, perhaps you would prefer a delicious pasta, a slow-cooked stew, or a hearty salad.

For dinner, you might wish to experience both classic and contemporary Tuscan cuisine. Perhaps one evening you would like to embrace traditional Tuscan cuisine, another evening, at a supplement, an authentic Renaissance dining experience prepared by a Chef Historian who can guide you through each course on the menu, and on another evening you might request that our private chefs introduce you to modern, experimental Tuscan cuisine.

Whether you would like to enjoy a single chef-prepared meal during your stay at Villa I Busini, or have every meal expertly prepared to your preferences, we will gladly accommodate your request.

All meals at Villa I Busini embrace the Tuscan “farm to table” concept and are chef-prepared and beautifully served in the main dining hall or one of the Villa’s splendid outdoor terraces. We would gladly recommend accompanying wines or supply your choice of wines, please send us your requests and we will gladly accommodate you.

On days you choose to explore the region, we will happily assist with all your sightseeing arrangements, as well as your lunch and dinner reservations.
