The Edith Junior Suite is named after one of the most glamorous residents of the villa, American born, Edith Story, whose husband owned Villa I Busini from 1846. Edith was the daughter of the famous American Sculptor, William Wetmore Story and a courtier to Queen Margherita (wife of King Umberto I).

Located on the first floor of the Villa overlooking the western terrace, the Edith Junior Suite offers sweeping views of the luscious terrain and hill-tops of Val di Sieve, and exudes an ambience of serenity.

During the renovations, fragments of the murals dating back to the 18th century were discovered and have been meticulously preserved. Glimpses of a past era are also captured in the magnificent, Renaissance decor.

The 16th portrait by Bronzino of the Spanish noble Eleanor of Toledo Duchess of Florence, first wife of Cosimo de Medici adorns the wall between the two windows.

In the delightful bathroom, a giant mirror cleverly conceals the shower and facilities and provides a beautiful reflection of the urn-like earthenware basin, and the elegant bath.

All Villa I Busini accommodations feature luxury linens and amenities, underfloor heating, cooling, and Wifi.
