The Family Dining Room
Adjacent to the Historic Kitchen, The Family Dining Room is the informal dining room of Villa I Busini. Despite it being informal, no effort has been spared in ensuring this room is as exceptional as the rest of the estate.
The colorful stained glass windows and doors with their lead panels allow morning light to flood the room, and the large natural stone fireplace, with the prominent Peruzzi coat of arms, provides warmth in the evenings.
The walls are elaborately decorated by frescoes painted in the Trompe-l'œil technique. This technique, which fascinated artists during the Renaissance, uses realistic imagery to create an optical illusion, whereby the depicted objects appear three dimensional.
In the center of the room, the large solid wooden table comfortably seats fourteen persons.
