The Sacristy

The Sacristy room is situated next to the Chapel of San Giovanni di Battista (St. John the Baptist) and received its name as a result of its location—a sacristy is a room in a church where  articles of worship are kept and the priest prepares for service.

The delightful space features double doors decorated with the Peruzzi and the Medici Coat of Arms. The doors open out onto the terrace at the rear of Villa I Busini, offering a beautiful view of the Tuscan landscape.

The Sacristy is home to Villa I Busini’s only television and the two large crushed velvet couches create the perfect welcoming ambience, and ideal place to relax and enjoy a classic movie.

Adorning the walls, two large portraits of Renaissance ladies add the final touches to the old-world sanctuary
